kkaiserfnp Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Is it possible to use TARGET software on a Hotas Warthog in combination with Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals? When I set up TARGET, it only recognized Thrustmaster hardware... Thanks, KPK
rob10 Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Not sure if this is exactly what you're asking, but you should be able to use both within DCS with TARGET looking after the HOTAS and mapping the pedals in DCS, but I doubt (don't know for sure) that you can use TARGET to control the pedals if that's what you're after. I use WH Hotas and CH pedals no problem, but map both directly in DCS (no TARGET).
reschke Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 You can not map the Saitek(Logitech) pedals directly by TARGET. I used to have the Saitek Combat Pedals and while they were a good piece of sim kit; they were always creating issues with me in the DCS controls and never would stay on the correct axis' when I assigned them in game. Warthog #1397...compliments of SimHQ
CACBoomerang Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 Hi This is sort of related. I have Standard Saitek Rudder Peddles and a Warthog HOTAS. I have the problem that the rudder tow breaks are not recognized in DCS. I've tried all the combinations of unplugging and swapping the different controllers out but nothing has worked. I know that the toe breaks work outside of DCS I can check with all the controllers plugged in and using the Saitek software. The rudder works fine just the toe breaks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Steve

CACBoomerang Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Hi Ant0ine Just tried it and there are no options in the drop down box. Cheers Steve
Ant0ine Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 (edited) Just tried it and there are no options in the drop down box. Uhm, weird, are you sure you are in "Axes Assign", cause otherwise the game is waiting for a button/keyboard input instead of an axis. Edited December 23, 2019 by Ant0ine
CACBoomerang Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Ant0ine Thanks That was the problem a bit of a Noob mistake. But I'm really only now getting into DCS. Cheers Steve
