Targeting pod and IR maverick, can't switch from wide to narrow FOW or back in Pod

So if i'm using the litening pod to target IR mavericks once I select the maverick I can no longer change wide and narrow field of view in the CV targeting pod or go from flir to TV mode. it stays lock on the current mode. Even if i use the sensor select button to select the DDI with the targeting pod. pressing the narrow and wide view changes the Mavericks FOV even though the ddi with the maverick is no longer selected.

only way I can fix this is to unselect the maverick, and then reselect it after selecting the view mode i want on the flir pod. which is a pain if i'm trying to ripple fire a bunch of IR mavericks in one pass at multiple targets that are space a fair distance apart

When mav is selected it takes priority over FOV hotas button no matter what sensor is selected. This has been covered in many older threads and apparantly works as intended in the real jet.

You can also press the push button on the DDI to cycle FOV, you dont necessarily have to go through your fiddly work around.
