bkthunder Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 Isn't the thrust reverser overpowered? From a standstill, engaging it and going full throttle results in a near-instant acceleration that is quicker than the forward acceleration during takeoff with after-burner. Is this a workaround to some DCS limitation? Windows 10 - Intel i7 7700K 4.2 Ghz (no OC) - Asus Strix GTX 1080 8Gb - 16GB DDR4 (3000 MHz) - SSD 500GB + WD Black FZEX 1TB 6Gb/s
Lanius Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 (edited) 10s 170kmh forward full burner 10s 86kmh reverse rough seems to accelerate forward faster, at 5 s mark reverse is ~50kmh and forward ~100kmh 3 second forward thrust on-off 46kmh/ back 3 second 26kmh, burner seems to ignite about in 2 s first 2 seconds forward and backward seems quite same, Mikko Edited December 31, 2019 by Lanius
