Thrust reverser over-powered

Isn't the thrust reverser overpowered? From a standstill, engaging it and going full throttle results in a near-instant acceleration that is quicker than the forward acceleration during takeoff with after-burner.

 

Is this a workaround to some DCS limitation?

10s 170kmh forward full burner

10s 86kmh reverse

seems to accelerate forward faster, at 5 s mark reverse is ~50kmh and forward ~100kmh

 

3 second forward thrust on-off 46kmh/ back 3 second 26kmh, burner seems to ignite about in 2 s

 

first 2 seconds forward and backward seems quite same,
