First I’ve seen some squadrons require engine startup clearance from ground where others don’t or is that common for dcs squadrons? Second you do require clearance before taxi correct? I know in the civilian world at controlled airfields clearance for both is required from my research. I also believe that the usaf requires clearance for both also but have no hard proof. Neon Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 We don’t do either in mine. We announce if we are on others servers (like a untowered airport). Most of the time we do squadron internal or invite only missions so if we have someone that wants to do tower/awacs/whatever then amazing. But those people are few and far between.
