X and Y axis not registering

Hi, my base has been working perfectly for ages now until I did something wrong in the software. So every aircraft in DCS World started rolling to the left. In the calibration software it showed as being off centre left, so I tried re-centring it without luck. Not sure what I’ve done but now neither of the axis register in the software or windows (just to check) control set up. All the buttons work but not the axis. I’ve contacted Virpil but I think it’s their Christmas so not holding out for a response for a while

Any ideas?

You could try pulling up the stick in Windows Game Controller settings and choose to reset to default. Then if operating normally re-calibrate in the Virpil software again.

 

I had something similar happen on my Virpil stick a while back when I was still using it, someone suggested that and it worked for me.

It’s ok, I got it. I did actually try your suggestion without luck though.

 

I reinstalled the new up to date software (which for some reason did not detect my axis last night) and created a new profile. So now all I have to do is remap everything - but at least it works. And I’m happy about that.
