I have 2 WarBRD bases, and I have tried to make them different names for Windows so I can work out which is which in DCS and other progs.

I've changed the name in VPC software profiles, etc., but they always end up being called the same in Windows as per attachment.

Any idea how to do this?

Thanks, I tried all that stuff, but it didn't work. The only way I got it to work, was to call one base LEFT and the other RIGHT in the Device Side option.

A word of warning as well, if you mess around with this, all bindings get lost in DCS as it thinks it's a different device.

A real PITA!

It's not lost entirely, it's just based on name. You can go into the :

Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\aircraft-name\joystick

find the mapping for your old stick names, then rename them with the names of the new sticks.

Guys, both were good pieces of advice, however, I used my old tried and tested technique to solve the issue, and that is just import the old profile into the 'new' device in DCS Control settings.

Only takes a few seconds for each module.

Thanks again.
