Doing the SU-25T TV missile training mission and during the first pass I destroy the left bunker with no problems. Come around to finish the next bunker and the Shkval auto-targets the destroyed bunker. Getting the recital anywhere near that destroyed bunker seems to cause the auto-targeting "feature" to kick in. I didn't experience any auto-locking on the first pass.

Is this something to do with the lighting/reflections from the burned out bunker? Is it because I lined up more with the burned out bunker?

I've recorded the behavior here:

I will post in the bug forum if this is a bug, but I wanted to see if this is just the way Shkval works. It's annoying if that's the case. What I was looking for was some way to turn off the auto-locking mechanism.

Use [RCTRL and +] or [RCTRL and -] to adjust the targeting box size.

With a smaller target box it should no longer track large structures.

It's hard to see in the video, but I was making the box smaller but it would auto expand the box to target the destroyed bunker.

Here's what it appears. The destroyed bunker has a much bigger hitbox than the bunker next to it.

What is strange about all this is why is a destroyed structure something that's target-able in the first place. But if we want to pretend a sensor doesn't care what it's targeting and will lock on to any discernible feature, make sure it's hitbox isn't so big.

Yes, it's a bug. The target box will jump to the destroyed bunker, even if it's not within the field of view. That being said, however, a lot depends on the direction of your attack as to whether or not that will happen. If you destroy the left bunker (larger bunker) first, and approach the remaining bunker along one of its longer sides, the TB will jump. If approaching from a narrower side, it will not.
