M3 and 4 Range Audio

I’m currently playing through the Kursant campaign and I’m at Mission 5(the second unguided rocket mission).

 

In mission 3( the first bomb mission), the instructor stated that he would be talking to the Range Officer, but to pay attention to what the range officer says. However, when he speaks to the range officer, I can’t hear the range officers reply. I get the subtitles for the response, but that’s it. It is the same for mission 4.

 

Am I missing a radio setting somewhere, is this intended, or is it a bug?

I tested mission 3 in release 2.5.5.41371. The radio is working properly. I did not touch the radio station - it is controlled by an instructor.

Huh, I wonder what’s going on on my end and what I need to do to fix it.
