Eagleeye0024 Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Hi guys. Brand new to DCS and have ran into a puzzling snag. I got all of my controls binded and configured and everything appears to be working except the Left and Right throttles won't move in game. I have watched at least 20 videos on configuring, read many many discussion threads on the topic and still no avail. The controls page on the Axis commands says it is binded and when I move them back and forth I see movement on the bind key but in game when I move the throttles in the F-18 nothing happens. I even removed the device from my system and re-installed them both. Every other switch, knob, and button on the left HOTAS works fine in game just no movement at all from the throttles. Any ideas at all?
Ant0ine Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 but in game when I move the throttles in the F-18 nothing happens. You start with a cold plane? If so you have to get the F18 throttle from off to idle first.

As a former F-18 mechanic I started countless A/C and knew this to be the case but I was trying to do the throttle lock. Never occurred to me to have the throttle in idle before starting the engine.
