Gavski1 Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 At the moment I have a Hog stick and an X52 throttle - there is a rotor on the throttle that I am currently using as my rudder (I can't use a foot rudder). I want to upgrade to a Tm Warthog throttle - Is there anything on it that I could map to a rudder axis. Has to be something that can map as an axis in dcs controls setup? FC3, F86 Sabre, Mig 21Bis, A10C, C-101, AJS-37 Viggen, F/A18-C Hornet, UH1-H Huey, AV8-N/A Harrier, Mirage 2000c, Spitfire MKix, Me BF109 K-4, Tornado GR4 (one day).
Ant0ine Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 The grey friction lever on the right side of the throttle. It is vertical however. Can you use twist axis? If so I invit you to have a look at VKB and Virpil instead of the Warthog Stick. If your budget is tight then I think the VKB Gladiator + Upgrade kit + SCG PRO grip could interest you. Note however, that you won't be able to add an extension on that base later. While you could on the Warthog. But I guess a twist axis is more important to you.

Tm Warthog throttle have the slew control under middle finger but is very imprecise because are a sliding device, an upgrade for proper mini-stick exist. https://deltasimelectronics.com/products/thumbstick-slew-sensor-adapter With this mini-stick you can have a reasonable rudder control, probable similar to twist rudder of entre level joysticks.
