Has this been tried ? Module Pit into FC3 ?

Ok before Anyone says why... I have my reasons. Poor mans SU-25KM since we will never see one in DCS

 

Is it possible to Put paid module cockpit folders into FC3 Aircraft and force the new pit ?

 

I know for all the Flyable modules E-2, Tornado, SU-24 they use FC3 Pits, or the SU-25 / F-15 Pit etc.

 

 

Is it possible to go the other way. Put the JF-17 Cockpit into the SU-25T ?

Has anyone tried this ?

I think it´s only possible in reverse!

The JF-17 with the external model of the Tornado, Rafale or Eurofighter for example.

For that you only have to change and rename the .edm files in the JF-17/shapes folder.

 

I´ve tried it with the Eurofighter, it works, but the cockpit view is totally messed up, also the gear position on the ground (floating nose wheel). You can edit the pylon entries as well, but it oddly enough has no effect on the weapon positions on the pylons of the new external model. Means, no weapons possible under the left wing, no matter what you edit.

 

So, I think, there´s no reason to make further attempts to give the JF-17 another external model.
