Ryu8200 Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 (edited) Turns out I was chasing my own tail and the trimmer switch on my Warthog hotas was going bad...Mods please delete my post. Edited February 10, 2020 by Ryu8200 Found cause. No bug
draconus Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 1. Normal. Idle lockup protection. 2. You might have hit the ceiling (if over 60k ft) or AutoPilot was involved. Need more info. Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
Ryu8200 Posted February 3, 2020 Author Posted February 3, 2020 For issues 2 once I run out of "Nose up" trim the issue stays regardless of speed or altitude and I end up holding the stick back and can't trim it out anymore. The only way I can fix this is to reslot as no "repair" in needed.
draconus Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Can you reproduce it with as little steps as possible? Take on some air start mission and describe what you do. Take note of every switch change. Upload a track or video. Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
Ryu8200 Posted February 5, 2020 Author Posted February 5, 2020 Figured out the trimmer issue. Auto mode for the wing sweep is going beyond 60 degrees and going all the way back to 68 degrees. Once I lower my speed to move the wings forward to 60 degrees or less I regain the ability to trim.
