Bob1943 Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Been toying with the idea of installing a ButtKicker system on the wood base of my flight sim chair. Both throttle and stick are also connected to the wood base (see attached picture). Obviously, the controls are going to get some of the vibrations, as well as the seat. Should there be any concern that the vibrations will weaken/damage solder connections, as well as any other electrical components, in the HOTAS controls? https://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=226033&d=1580266579
JG14_Smil Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Biggest threat to HOTAS are small children. You will be fine.
Bob1943 Posted February 6, 2020 Author Posted February 6, 2020 Thanks for the reply. I'll get one ordered & installed.

Almost 3 years on, can you please give us an update on your experience? Is your HOTAS still fine? (And what HOTAS did you have)? Any regrets with the buttkicker?
