[RESOLVED]Can't Run In Multiplayer . . Need HELP!

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I've never had a problem in three years with DCS . . was completely lockup in MP and had to do a 'power down' restart (hate to shutdown like that), it appears something got corrupted, now I can not get into a multiplayer server or host. In either Stable or OB. Works great in everything else, VR and non-VR.

Multiplayer won't work if I host either.

My CPU usage on Task Manger goes to 95% and says DCS is 'unresponsive' . ..

Found a new video card driver update from last night, that didn't help, no Oculus updates.

MAYBE the next update will fix the issue, but this hard shutdown did some damage. Ran REPAIR and CLEAN . . nothing. I get all the way to selecting my 'role' click and go to FLY and then it just FREEZES.

Any suggestions would be great, thanks,

Chopper

Attached is my LOG.log I had to change the extension to attach

Hi

the log looks like you are cancelling the join.

My advice would be to remove all unofficial mods and run a cleanup and repair or verify for steam users.

You have some kneeboard issues it seems also, removing your custom kneeboard images to see if it helps also.

Let us know if it helps

thanks

Thanks BIGNEWY, I have done just that, started a SUPPORT TICKET, and have resent logs to them.

Never had an issue until I had to do the dreaded "power button shutdown" when everything was locked up.

Fixed it . . . I had WAY TO MUCH crap (files) in my SAVED GAMES . . . . almost two years of stuff I used to create missions were in sub folders, jpeg, zipped files, folders, audio files, pdf files, web site links, stored livery folders, clip art used for nose art, kneeboard files . . you name it, I had it tucked away for safe keeping. The only MOD I use is the Navy Equipment . . . took everything out, it worked . . . ran it in VR, non-vr, stable, OB, single player, multiplayer, hosting, everything worked again including VoiceAttack . . . added back my Navy Equipment and I'm all good.

Bottom line . . . . "pilot error"
