DLEGION Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 its normal that this missile track even while in full notch, and if for a miracle it miss, it just turn around and keep chasing ? seems quite strange , especially considering newer missiles like aim120 keep losing track by theyr own, and for sure dont turn like that !

Exorcet Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Some guy just posted a vid real phonix doing nearly that. Check the HB forum. This is completely different, the missile tracks a target outside of its radar FoV. It's an issue with DCS seekers at the moment. The AMRAAM is getting a new seeker, hopefully it will solve the issue and the change will be passed on to other missiles.
