I tried to search for this topic with no luck.

I ran Repair, rebooted and ran repair with no change.

You're on F drive SSD. It's not full is it? You're crashing when trying to update? The incoming patch is probably pretty big, and files marked for overwrite are copied under ''backup'' directories. In the case of maps this can be dozens of gb. If you need room check for them first and eliminate them. My DCS install is 170gb. If you're using a small budget drive, that's a problem. Your specs look fine.

Thank you for checking. I’ll double check. Its a 500GB SSD and I only have DCS Open Beta on it.

I found this is a problem with my anti-virus (McAfee) and my backup/protection software (Acrons), both see DCS.EXE as a potential virus/threat. McAfee deletes it on start, Acronis warns that it's a ransomware threat. I stopped this problem by marking the exe in both apps as trusted. This needs to be looked into.

Yep, that was my problem. Rookie mistake. I forgot to turn off my anti-virus. :music_whistling:

''Insufficient resources'' doesn't sound like AV deleting the exe. As for AV McAfee is known to suck #1, and #2 the people who would need to look into it are the AV people. Write to them and complain so they whitelist DCS
