Pac-Man Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 Good Day, Devs and Team! So, I know everyone is complaining about the VR performance. However, after doing some testing I stumbled onto something really odd and unexpected. My configuration: i7-7700K RTX 2080Ti 32G DDR4 DCS Installation - NVME SSD Pimax 5k+ Following the update I am getting about 30fps regardless of location Prior to the update, I was running fairly high DCS graphics setting. Pretty much everything on high, 1.8 PD, shadows on high.. the works.. In attempt to increase my frame rate today, I was playing around with settings and was noticing NOTHING was having ANY impact on frame rate OR visual quality Turned PD down... no change Turned PD up... no change Shadows MSAA AA Textures Nothing was having ANY impact on performance or quality - good or bad. The only setting that I noticed actually changed with very minor performance impact was Terrain Textures. I'm thinking that all of the visual settings are not being applied when using VR. It's like it's hard coded to specific settings. I've noticed that MOST of the community is getting close to the same performance when in VR and thought this may be something you would want to look into. I could also be completely full of crap and there's just something wrong with my installation. :) I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
