Smooth FPS but stutter every 30 seconds

Performance on 2.5.6 is butter smooth... apart from a brief 0.5 second stutter that happens every 45 seconds or so. Happens on both day and night. Never happened in 2.5.5

 

Any ideas? Pretty sure my system can handle the game pretty well.

Not sure if this is the same issue I had, or if you've seen the thread. Maybe worth a look.
