window missing

Hello, I am hoping someone can help me!

 

So I updated to 2.5.6 but had some major problems so I reverted back to 2.5.5.41962.

 

Now when I select Instant Action or even when I load a mission from the editor when I get into the cockpit, the screen that is normally present there is now gone. It's the one that has "Fly" on it. Or in the mission editor it's the screen that usually allows you to select a client plane. That's gone for some reason.

 

I have ran the repair on DCS and it didn't fix it. In the Instant Action it's fine because I can hit escape and then resume and it will let me fly, but any mission where you need to select your aircraft to fly won't work because if you hit escape there is no option to select slot.

 

Has anyone seen this before?

What log do you need exactly?

 

The game isn't crashing either, it's running just fine. I just don't see that screen when I start a mission.

 

Is there a display file that I can delete and then restart the game that will be re created like some other folders?

EDIT:

 

Ran the repair and also did the fix with the saved games folder and that still didn't fix it. It literally is just that one screen when you start a mission. I feel like it's something simple I just can't figure it out. I've also tried setting different resolutions and that didn't help either.
