-Wurm- Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Hello everyone, i hope someone could help me with this. DCS crashes on the loadingscreen of the mission. So i can start the game, login, change setting and so on but i can not get into a local game. Looking at the log file i can see the issue is (full log file attached): DCS/2.5.6.43931 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.18363) C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dll # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 967BF4F0 00:00000000 what i already tried: for the game: uninstalled and reinstalled renamed c:\users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS folder ran a file validation in steam tested on low, medium and high graphics settings for windows updated Graphics driver updated windows sfc /scannow DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth chkdsk of all the disks involved uninstalled antivirus still the same I know my graphics card is not the best but it ran "fine" in windows 7. The issue exists since a fresh install of windows 10 (no update from windows 7). thanksdcs.log-20200226-175923.zip

In the end it turned out my graphics card was dying and this seemed to be a sign of it. So the card lastet for one more month with more and more issues i could not pinpoint and then finally died. thread can be closed again all issues resolved with the new card.
