menu greyed out

Hi

Having just had to perform a clean install of windows 10, I also reinstalled DCS 2.5 and Oculus.

I created a second DCS shortcut using the "dcs.exe --force_disable_VR" text.

 

When this boots, every menu option seems to be disabled. The only way I have found to get them working is to bring up task manager as if I was going to terminate DCS, and then exit task manager, and then they seem to work.

 

Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

Hi

 

not all options can be changed while in game, some settings require that you are in the main menu first.

 

All options not available while in a mission will be greyed out

Hi Thanks for the reply.

I think I wasn't clear- ALL items are greyed out on the home screen, including start missions, modules, exit, every single item is unavailable.

can you attach your dcs log which can be found in your saved games dcs logs folder.

 

Are you logged into your dcs account in game?

Have attached log.

I can confirm I have been logged into DCS account.

I've also attached a pic of everything grayed out. The only way out of this is to end through task manager.

Can I ask you to follow my crash advice linked below in my signature.#

 

The will create a new dcs folder in saved games and run a cleanup and repair.
