2.5.6 "Target Damaged" Screen stays up

Not sure if anyone here is having the same issue, but in 2.5.6 the window that pops up to show that your target is taking damage is now on the right side of the plane and is no longer transparent. That's not necessarily the problem if that is normal now, but after the plane is gone that menu stays up on the screen and I can't remove it.

 

Is this a known issue, I've been searching for something and can't find anything on it?

Hi

 

yes the BDA window changed in 2.5.6 to be clearer.

 

If you go to your in game MISC settings you should be able to un-select it in overlays

I also am having a problem with the game freezing up when I start and Instant Action and sometimes when I close a mission. DCS isn't necessarily crashing, but it just freezes and I have to go to task manager to close it.

 

I've ran repair and clean and also set my page file based on my system.

 

Any ideas?

attach your dcs log after it happens we should see some clues.
