AAP.

For Pod related AAP buttons, they have to be manually pressed to turn on. CMBT cannot turn them on.

WMD7 Pod: CLDP

SPJ Pod: SPJ

 

TOT

For navigation, the TOT time on HUD and UFCP (TOT page, line 3) shows the diff between the planned arrival time and estimated time.

If negative, it means early arrival; otherwise late arrival.

L2 BTN for UFCP->TOT is used to edit the planned arrival time.

R3 BTN is used to reset the TOT to 0, and then update the planned arrival time accordingly

I.e, assume current TOT is +03:12, it means we are 3min 12sec late. If we press R3, the TOT will become 0, and the arrival time will be postponed by 3min 12sec.

Power Supply

When canopy is closed, the battery power will be automatically on.

 

SMS Programs

When you use S8 [key D] to select weapon, it's actually cycling SMS A/A or A/G programs.

There are 2 for A/A and 6 for A/G, respectively.

In A/A master mode, it cycles between the A/A programs, and similar for A/G.

For different programs, you can set weapon types, low alt etc independently.

 

Something needs to pay attention to:

If you have only two A/G weapon types (i.e. Mk82 and 802K), then the A/G programs will be 1: 82, 2: 802, 3: 82, 4: 802, 5: 82, and 6: 802.

Some player modified the config for Mk82 on A/G1, and then, he pressed S8/key D twice.

He may find that he again selected Mk82 but configuration is different. That's because Mk82 config is no longer from A/G1 but A/G3.

 

Alternatively, you can click U1 of SMS page to show the programs list beside OSB,

and click the corrensponding OSB to select the desired program.

AAR Probe Install/Remove

You can either install/remove the AAR probe in ME (by mission designer)

or

Ask ground crew to do it once in cockpit

 

To install/remove the AAR probe, you are required to shutdown engine

in order to avoid any screw/scrap ingested by engine.

It will cost 30 second to complete the request.
