grammaton_feather Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 (edited) DCS is now unplayable on my 1080Ti. Just tried the F18 on Nevada and prior to the last two patches it used to run smoothly on my HTC Vive. Now the frame rate has dropped and the flight is stuttery. It's unplayable. Why don't you take advantage of the VR acceleration hardware that's part of every Nvidia GPU? VRworks support would bring a significant boost to VR performance as it did with Eve Valkyrie, Raw Data and the Croteam VR games. People over at Facebook DCS VR group are also reporting performance issues in VR... https://www.facebook.com/groups/1893278417412009/?ref=group_header UPDATE: FIXED!!!! I uninstalled my DCS Beta and installed the DCS 2.5 non-beta. Running smoothly on my 1080Ti + HTC Vive. I had the shader mod installed on the beta at some point so perhaps that impacted it? BMGZ06 Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 (edited) I noticed today that my FPS wont go above 46 and I have lowered settings in several areas. I first hooked up my new Reverbs last night and was getting in excess of 100fps in a lot of areas with frametimes in the low teen. Now today I am getting frametimes in the high 20 to 30s and stutters near an airfield or over dense areas. My DCS still says version 2.5.5 though. I should note that Im not running Beta version though.
