Looking for fellow WWII pilots to fly with online during U.S./Canada evenings.

Hi, TinMan here.

I fly a couple of hours now and again in the evening during the week around 20:00 Eastern Time, U.S. (0:00 UT).

You can find me on either the SoW or the LFDM server and, if Burning Skies ever converts to WWII maps/assest, there too.

I fly the P51 almost exclusively

I’m almost always on SRS when I’m on these servers.

If you happen to see me online, feel free to jump on SRS and introduce yourself.

If you are new to DCS and want the best online experience, I’ve found that trying to fly “lone wolf” can be very discouraging. Coordinating with other players not only makes the time more enjoyable, it increases your survivability several fold - at least it seemed to have done for me.

(Also, if you are new to DCS and/or DCS WWII, SoW and LFDM are both on the Normandy map and I believe they both require the WWII assets pack)

Hey TinMan,

A couple of people I can reocmmend:

Rob from 71st Aces high, (US/ Canada based for the most part) - https://www.il2aceshigh.com/

Wolverine from 401 Sqn RCAF (Canada largely) - http://401squadron.canadaboard.net/

Fenrir or The guys from Danger dogz - (multi national flyers who have a few chaps in your timezone) http://dangerdogz.com/forums/

These chaps might have a few guys in your timezone who are flying in an organized manner and might be in the business of teaming up.

Hey, Tin Man, Florida here! Have only gone online a few times with a Tomcat group for practice, but I'd love to get involved with the WWII stuff and my P-51. I've bookmarked the servers you mentioned and I'd love to give it a try again. I'm usually on same time as you. I'm a retiree,so...

Either server will do? I DO have the Normandy map and the WWII Assets pack. Let me check out the Discord and other items and I hope I can join you soon.

Cheers!
