Computer shutting down once dcs multiplayer is started

Hey chaps

 

I am having an issue with my system. Once it’s loading into a multiplayer game the computer will shut down and restart. After it restarts it usually runs ok. It’s only with multiplayer. Sometimes I’ll even get as far as starting the jet but without fail it’ll shut down then restart. It happens with 2.5 and 2.5.6 open.

 

Any ideas what it could be?

 

I’ve replaced the power supply, gpu, ram and even the board and cpu.

 

System specs:

I5 2500k

8gb hyperx fury - I also tried some other 8gb ram and together at 16gb

Msi gtx 970

Corsair cx750m psu

Follow up.

 

It just did it whilst trying to find my way to the log file. Don’t know if this helps or not

Check/monitor cpu temperatures. Sounds like you forgot thermal paste:D

 

(You said you replaced almost your whole pc? Because of this problem? )

everything runs cool. yeah ive trialed and error everything. ive just finished gaming and its run sweet after its standard tantrum.

Ah, ok. I just reread your initial post. The first thing that comes to my mind about multiplayer is the increased memory usage. So maybe take a closer look at the RAM.

Also, what are your pagefile settings?

And then there is also the data storage device.

please attach your dcs log it can be found in your saved games dcs log folder.

 

it should give us some clues.
