Fullscreen resolution issue: framed in black view

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have an issue:

If I choose a lower resolution than my monitor native, with "fullscreen" choosen", Instead of "expanding" the GUI/SIM it frames it into black border.

Ovbiously the resolution has similar proportion than native, in a 21:9 monitor.

Resolution are:

native = 3440 x 1440

choosen = 2560 x 1080

any suggestion?

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

Ok, for those who experience the same: it was a monitor setup of LG. You need to set format to original. Mine was 1:1.

Why are you not choosing Native Resolution?

Cause of performance: if I choose native on my old PC, I can't get enought FPS.

When you choose 1:1, the monitor use it's native resolution in reduced format, so you are like in window mode with full resolution, but with black border instead of real fulscreen.
