Pilotasso Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 Guess the pilot doesnt need dark glasses at all! .
mvsgas Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I wonder why they redesigned the front door (above froward lift fan)? You figure it would not make since for RCS or hight speed conversion to vertical flight. I don't, know just wandering. http://www.lockheedmartin.com/data/assets/4679.jpg http://image2.sina.com.cn/jc/p/2007-03-17/U1335P27T1D435337F3DT20070317102954.jpg http://www.sinaimg.cn/jc/p/2007-07-28/U1335P27T1D457035F3DT20070728094534.jpg To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
VMFA117_Poko Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 It works like airbrake and directs the airflow thru the fan. F35B doesn't have so big intakes like Harrier as you can see. Probably it helps when switching to vertical flight.
mvsgas Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Maybe Lockheed Martin copy some of the F-35 design from somebody else?
