Fly987 Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Hi, I have control issues with A-10A and A-10C where the plane pitches up on its own and at times banks left. I'm always pushing the stick forward. I do not have such issues with F/A-18 or F-15C. My HOTAS is Thrust Master Warthog and using Logitech pedals. I've spent a lot of time in setting up the controls and also checked to make sure I have not made a silly mistake but to no avail. Contacted DCS Eagle Dynamics who pointed me to the ED forum. Help on this issue is very much appreciated. Regards
Lange_666 Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 Do you trim? Examples: - Increasing speed will pitch up because of more lift generated from the wings. You then need to trim down a bit. Same the other way around. - Banking: possible due to different load-out on the wings (and it changes after every weapon release). If it banks left, your left wing is heavier then the right wing so you need to trim right. If you don't trim, you have to counteract with the stick.
