TOViper Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Hi folks, is it correct behavior in A-G mode (e.g. for using LGBs with the Target Pod), that switching between the modes CCRP / CCIP / STRF changes the SOI (DMS) to the MFD containing the INV page instead of the MFD containing the TGP image? After switching modes I always have to re-select the MFD containig the TGP image for slewing the cross hair ... Frederf Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 The INV page can never be SOI. There's nothing to be selected about it. Do you mean simply that it is displayed? Changing CCRP, CCIP, STRF isn't a master mode change and the MFD format selection shouldn't change. Even a master mode change (e.g. NAV to AG) the displayed format should be last selected (?).
TOViper Posted April 1, 2020 Author Posted April 1, 2020 (edited) Hi Frederf, thanks for you answer, and indeed I made a wrong statement initially, but the question remains. In fact what is happening is the following: The SOI moves to the HUD when cycling STRF-CCIP-CCRP. Fact. When "landing" at CCRP, it leaves the SOI in the HUD. Fact. So I have to press DMS DOWN again to have the SOI on the MFD (the one showing the target pod image). It seems that the system prefers the HUD over the MFD.
