The particle effects for smoke, fire and crashes, on planes, destroyed or damaged ground units, water splashes from bullets, cannon, bombs, sinking or damaged ships, buildings and all things war could use a facelift.

 

Some stuff doesn't even make that much sense. Like rifle and light machine gun round will kick up as much dirt and be visible as a 20mm round striking the ground.

 

Other times online it looks like another nonai pilot is continuously leaking fuel, but they're not leaking anything as far as they can tell, or the tank is already empty.

 

Or how pylons are attached to air where the wing is missing or smoke is pouring from a wing that isn't there anymore.

 

Ships simply blink out of existence instead of actually sinking under the waves and the damage looks copy paste on some poorly rendered fire and smoke effects.
