Shrike88 Posted April 8, 2020 Posted April 8, 2020 Greetings First of all With WWII Assets I still cannot believe this is not a feature available in the ME. Has anyone written a script or setup for Paratroopers ? Deployable in a C-130 ? I know Eric&Patrick's AC-130 has them however its done by creating a new Weapon class and making it basically the shape of a Paratrooper. This is something I doubt I could isolate the code and run as a .lua already in mission. I know there is Cribob's old CSAR Script that creates Soldiers M4 where ever there is an ejected pilot landing, Wondering if we could just create lots of Pilot ejection models maybe ? Has anyone ever tried this, Successful or know of something to point me in the right direction ? Thanks
Dingo_Bob Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 I remember it used to be done by editing the C-130's or C-17's lua change the crew number to 10 or more, then in ME set a trigger zone once the plane enter's that zone have its health drop to less than 10 or 5% all the crew except the pilot will jump out, the plane fly's off home, or have a second trigger to return it to 100% health, and rinse and repeat with a string of triggers, not sure it still works though?
