GGTharos Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 Actually yes it is. IIRC I even have a fuel flow chart for the F-15 somewhere around here that a squadmate of mine made ... I also have a utility that will in fact show you fuel flow on a G-15. You will certainly burn less fuel at high altitude while maintaining the same *ground speed* as that at low altitude. IAS drops, and so does fuel consumption - for a given RPM setting on the engines. The drop is not terribly much, and it is linear.
