Schafft Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 I just finished one mission in the GAW with CA campain. It was the first mission. I'm just starting out. I crashed during the mission. In the debrief, i got promoted from 2Lt up to Col. I also received the following medals: Air Medal, Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Airmans Medal, DFC, Silver Star, Air Force Cross, and the MoH. All from one mission. I don't think this is right. I only got one kill but sent my wingman in and the other flights. They got a lot of kills.

Got recycled few times.
Raisuli Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 I have a medal of honor, silver star, purple heart...Maybe they think if I get enough medals I'll go on the speaking circuit and stop breaking their airplanes. Seems like a desperation ploy to me. Really, it would be nice to clean that up, but I suspect this is something near to if not at the bottom of the list. Minor things like aircraft, frame rates, and feature sets are distracting them from the important stuff like...um...er...
jasonbirder Posted April 13, 2020 Posted April 13, 2020 My favourite log book error was during a campaign when I completed a mission, won a medal (I forget which) and was congratulated for being "promoted" from Major to Captain As it had obviously subtracted flight hours from the particular pilot instead of adding them on!
