Andy t Posted April 20, 2020 Author Posted April 20, 2020 Thank you all for your help. It turned out I needed to adjust my nvidia/DCS settings as follows: Nvidia CP: Max Frame Limit: 60fps Monitor Technology: Fixed Refresh Preferred refresh rate: Highest Available Vertical Sync: Fast DCS: Turn off vsync And I agree - once you got big screen, you never go small!!!
MK84 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Check and see if your TV have a GAME mode, PC mode or something similar and enable that. On some TVs the settings are hidden. Next check the HDMI input on your TV and make sure it is set to RGB and not YCbCr.
panzerd18 Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 By "banding" I mean the noticable redrawing of the screen while moving the view (via track ir) around. I can see see the screen redraw happen in layers. Do others that use TVs for DCS have this issue? This is at 60hz, 4k. You mean screen tearing. Try and keep the FPS, at or above 60 to match the 60Hz refresh rate of the monitor.
