NO MAVERICK on MAV page after re-arming

I've uploaded the weapons into my DSMS and I can see them there, but on the MAV page, it says "NO MAVERICK", and I can't turn them on.

 

What am I missing?

I always shut down the CICU before requesting a rearm/reload, then do the DTS Upload after I'm reloaded/refueled and the CICU is all powered back up.

I did that, because I needed to repair the aircraft as well, so I did a full shutdown to request repair, re-arm and refuel. Then started it up like a normal cold start. But no Mavericks on the MAV page..

One can re-arm with the engines running. Though, when I re-arm I typically start the APU on the taxi in, transfer electrical and then shut down the main engines. This allows the CDU to stay energized and retain its NAV initialization.

 

To load the new weapons into your DSMS, you need to re-assign an MFCD OSB in order to bring up the LOAD page :

 

 

1. Wait until you are re-armed and then push and hold one of the lower OSB's on either MFCD. After a moment you'll get new options on the right side OSB's. Let go of the button at this point.
   
2. Select a new function, LOAD in this case, and then then click one of the lower OSB's to assign LOAD to that OSB.
   
3. Then push that OSB to bring up the load page, and then select LOAD DSMS.
   
4. Wait for that to finish and your new weapons will be in your DSMS. After this process your re-assigned OSB will revert back to what is normally on that button once you select a normal page (TAD, DSMS, etc).

Like I said, I did upload the weapons into the DSMS (just like you stated), and I can see the new loadout in my DSMS. But again : On the MAV page, it still says "NO MAVERICK", so there's no option to turn the sensors on or use them. But they are hanging under my wing AND they are listed in the DSMS page.

 

And like I said, the reason why I did a shutdown was because I needed a repair after swallowing too many bullets.

Yep! I did one re-arming now, but without shutting down the aircraft, and then it worked just fine, so it has to be something when you repair it as well.
