Morning Folks! is there any plans on allowing multiple beacons to be activated at once in a multiplayer environment?

trigger.action.radioTransmission()

In multiplayer it appears that if a beacon is activated, it will cancel out or stop any other available beacon and after doing a bit of research I did locate this on Hoggit.

Activates a beacon on the assigned group/unit. Note only one beacon be active at a time, if another beacon is activated the old beacon will be deleted.

Are there maybe any plans on adding the ability to allow multiple beacons to be activated in multiplayer? Think helos are starting to get a bit popular and this would be a great benefit.

As far as I know, multiple beacons work in MP just fine.

You can drop beacons with CTLD, and I've seen it done where there are many of them done with the ME and active at the same time.

yes, I believe it can be done just fine within the ME. But I am currently working on a CLASS so I have to stick with the scripting route for this one. Thanks Fargo! - I did check out the code in CTLD and we are both using the same trigger action "trigger.action.radioTransmission()" to create beacons and for the life of me I just can not get more than 1 beacon at a time to run.

For me - it works just fine and perfectly in single-player mode, but as soon as I go into multiplayer, only 1 beacon is working, and its always the most recently activated beacon. As activating 1 beacon appears to delete the others. Maybe im the only 1 seeing this type of issue? :doh:

Hmm, there is no connection between a radioTransmission trigger and the activateBeacon command. I think hoggit is correct that you can have one beacon per unit.

But again, I don't know what this has to do with sending a radio transmission?
