mvsgas Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 This shouldn't be the case; EPU operation on bleed air only (without hydrazine) should be possible if engine RPM is between 80 % and 90 %. No matter what, if the EPU is activated, it will always start with Hydrazine. Then, if enough engine bleed air is available, the EPU will transition to blended operation, Using Hydrazine only of it is require to maintain proper EPU turbine speed. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
Charly_Owl Posted May 3, 2020 Author Posted May 3, 2020 Yes, I realized that the lights were based on controller commands, not actual states. Chuck's DCS Tutorial Library Chuck's Guides on Mudspike Chuck's Youtube Channel Chuck's Patreon

Try EPU turned on at MIL thrust. Hydrazin light is on permanently and EPU fuel is decreasing rapidly constantly.
