Help understanding throttle axis tune in controls options

Hi, I have a warthog and also a cougar for use with Hornet and viper modules respectively.

I would like to know how best to set up and adjust both of these within DCS, so that throttle ranges and detects are properly set up.

Please can some one explain how to best use the slider/curve/saturation options to this?

I have been reading lots of threads, some say set up as a slider, others use a curve, and to be honest, I am confused......

easiest thing is to try each one. there is no one thing thats better. i use a curve on the WH but leave it default with a small deadzone for the viper. try it out and see what you prefer

I know you have seen it already.. But apparently you still have trouble. Please explain what you don't understand I'll try to re-explain. Oh, and yes, you must use a 3rd app software such as Thrustmaster Target or Joystick Gremlin if you want to do thing properly.

Hi Antoine, many thanks for replying, I was hoping you might, I can see you have an in depth understanding of how this works in the sim. First, I will try and follow exactly what you have done in the linked thread ( although some of the stuff is over my head , such as Bézier curves.....) and let you know how I get on. I have a feeling I will need some hand holding though....!
