F 18C addon stick

Moving default weapon select switch L/R direction was giving me fits, mainly left, so I made a little mod, and now it is 100% better in all directions. It is not the most handsome mod but thought I would share.

 

Thin model plywood fist shaped for Left side then glued. :):):pilotfly:

Nice. I find left on that button to be a challenge too. Might try something like that on mine

It takes a little bit of concentration and practice to push it to the left out of the box. It really shouldn't be that hard. Looks aside, your mod makes a lot of sense.

 

I bet someone could make a 3d printed design to slip over the button, or better yet replace the entire button with something similar that looks better but functions as well as your mod.

I saw this complaint when the stick first came out. Apparently "Weapon Select Switch Left" isn't used by the RL F/A-18.. only the right position.

Makes sense when we got a consumer copy of the same stick, and learned how difficult that left direction is!
