Wavehopper Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 I was just on the Hoggit carrier practice server (Fail Sail) and encountered an issue with the TACAN. TACAN was fine until I reached the boat and then it just quit on me. One other Tomcat pilot reported the same problem. I had dialled in the TACAN myself so I tried to get Jester to do it but there was no option under the radial to do so. I'm not sure if this is just a scripting error within DCS rather than the Tomcat (more than likely DCS) but I thought I'd raise it just in case. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC9G7AVfi68SovXCTCH-7fA
IronMike Posted May 24, 2020 Posted May 24, 2020 This is likely server side and for some reason the ship's tacan turned off. In our missions, to prevent this, we set ai task push triggers to reactivate the tacan every 10 minutes.
