Supercarrier not available

I am not getting the Supercarrier in Mission play.

 

I have two questions:

 

Firstly, if I purchase either the F/A-18 or the F-14, will that solve the problem?

 

Secondly, I have both the Open Beta and the Stable versions installed on my PC. If I buy either of the above aircraft's, will I be able to install it in both versions of DCS World?

If so, how is that done?

Do you own the Supercarrier? It's only in Open Beta at the moment.

 

Both the F-18 and 14 are in both the stable and open beta but mind that the stable build is a fair few months old now so there's a lot of differences

Yes, I own the SC. It is installed and appears on the installed list. However it will not show up when I click on a Mission. That is why I am asking if I need to own either the F/A-18 or the F-14 for the carrier to be available.

I am not sure whether the SU-33 would work or whether that is the Russian carrier only, but otherwise yes you need one of those 2 planes

The Su-33 only works with the Admiral Kuznetsov. Thanks. I think you have confirmed my theory.

I will purchase one of the US A/C next time they go on sale.

I think the supercarrier missions are only accessible if you own the FA18 or F14. Since they are in the instant action categories for those aircraft.

That is what I thought. Thank you for confirming it.

The Su-33 is in my Instant Action but a Russian A/C would never launch from a US carrier.
