Cockpit view settings

How do you go about determining what the view of a particular cockpit should be? I play on a 55 inch TV and my only reference is the TOMCAT since I have been in the cockpit and know exactly what the view should be. I have been looking on line to get an idea of what the Mirage and Hornet look like from the seat but I am not having luck do to location of cameras. I am looking specifically for example how much of the radome is visible and how far back the pilot sits from the panel. Suggestions cheefully accepted.

Not sure about reference materials etc but I know PeterP made a lua mod some years back - maybe this will help.
