This has nothing to with DCS, but maybe I get some help here.

When I watched tutorial videos on you tube the picture used to become sharp after several seconds.

Now it stays blurred all the time. Anybody any idea where and how to search for a solution ?

Would be really nice.

You have of course checked the quality and resolution you're watching in? May be also turn of hardware acceleration... But probably not if you're watching on a higher end system.

Well, can`t follow you exactly.

Could you please go a bit more into details ?

When you watch the video there should be five icons on the bottom left of the picture. Click on the second from left, the one that looks like a cog.

This should give you a pop-up window. The bottom option will be "Quality" with a number beside it. Click on the number to select resolution. If your connection is slow it may have defaulted to a low option.

Sorry for not being detailed, but try just like John says. Thanks John.

And about hardware acceleration, that's a long shot anyway, depends on the browser you're using. Chrome, FireFox whatever. Don't have that in my head. But Google "turn off hardware acceleration" for the browser you're using. It's in settings for it somewhere.

About choosing the quality of the video, it's seems that sometimes it sort of gets stuck in between qualities for me. I'm using Chrome mostly for the time being, so sometimes I just switch to another browser to see if it gets better.

How this helps.

Thank you both for the help.

Will try it all.

Edit:

made it ! Switching to HD quality was the right step.

Thanks again.
