VR performance issues in latest open beta

Oculus Rift CV1, RTX 2080 Super, i5 8600k, 16gb ddr4.

 

Last patch I had the best performance I've seen in DCS, but now I'm consistently getting single digit FPS. If I turn all settings to lowest possible I'm still only getting ~12 fps.

 

I've tried cleanup/repair and changing the name of my save to start fresh. Resource monitor shows ~20% gpu usage and <40% cpu usage. Using about 50% of RAM with more than 20GB free on the SSD where the game is installed.

 

Attached are both the current clean save log and the log from my original save. Apologies for any rules broken or if this is posted in the wrong place. I was just referred to the forums from discord.

Did you try deleting all files in Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\metashaders2\ and ..\fxo folders? If still poor FPS, try these mods: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=270404

 

Edit: ah, I see you tried starting fresh Saved Games, then deleting shaders won't help (((

If you are talking about DCS Stable build, then yes, going from 2.5.5 to 2.5.6 made everyone miserable ((( Maybe the best option is to downgrade (Google Skatezilla DCS updater) until ED fixes this mess (unlikely).
