Blackjack_UK Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 (edited) See this thread for further comment: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=276658 Basically on start the HUD and Shkval screen are set to be very bright - HUD is almost unreadable, Shkval screen is completely so. It's so bright that in standard mode the horizon bar and speed readout are invisible. That said, it does force me to mess with contrast and brightness and I end up with a better picture than I had before... Silver linings and all that ;) But it doean't seem to be right. Edited to add that the ABRIS screen is also extremely bright. Edited June 8, 2020 by Blackjack_UK [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Tnt Snipes Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Well this is a problem on the surface, what about the some main function not working at all. "Acquiring nav targets through HMS", followed by Skhval and targeting reset button going haywire. You tell me which is more important, lighting that we can adjust, or a major function that is broken?? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

ngreenaway Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 I've always found it to be too bright, even in 2.5.5 and earlier. Adjusting it has become part of my preflight routine [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] DCS: The most expensive free game you'll ever play Modules: All of them System: I9-9900k, ROG Maximus , 32gb ram, RTX2070 Founder's Edition, t16000,hotas, pedals & cougar MFD, HP Reverb 1.2, HTC VIVE
