Embark Problem (AI Helo AI Troops) - 1 Soldier decides he doesn't want to get on!

Hi,

 

I've had success with embark/disembark of AI Huey/troops. But sometimes, one solider (out of 5) decides not to embark when they rest already have. And the Huey just sits there because the pilot was taught "Leave no man behind!"

 

Any ideas why this one soldier decides not to board? He was already commanded with a sound to all "Get to da choppa!" But he seems distracted and is looking away from the chopper. I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with:

 

a) Zone embark radius? I set it at 300, that should be adequate right? How exactly does the radius affect embark action? I know the chopper lands on the tiny embark triangle.

 

b) Huey too heavy? This can't be since the mission has 2 embarks and the first embark/disembark is always successful. It's the 2nd embark where this one soldier decides not to get on board.

 

c) He saw some enemy and felt he had to defend? Something to do with ROE? Can't be since the rest in the same group embarked.

 

I find this ME very finicky. Even a change in season or mission time can screw things up. All the time we are trying to figure out the strange logic world of mission editing.

Hello

I tested infantry transport on an MP server, and it hasn't worked for a long time. Nothing has been improved, and the infantry behaves unexpectedly, they run where they fall and then block.

I solved it by moving the little triangles and perhaps also with a Weapons Hold after the Embark command. Finicky things. (SP in my case.)
