How to get AIRIO to tune A/A tacan channel.

Is there a way to get AIRIO to tune a tacan channel and make sure it is for Air to Air? I have to do this myself it seems by going to RIO pit and selecting it because setting it to A/A in pilot pit does nothing once I tell Jester to do it. I looked in the manual and there is nothing specific about how to tune back and forth for T/R or A/A tacan. If there is one Tanker by each callsign then it can work just saying the callsign but I have been on many servers where there are more than one Arco, texaco etc. If I say air to air to AIRIO then then switch for throttle mode gets flipped to auto.

If I have to set it mysellf to A/A or T/R then this defeats the purpose of having AIRIO control the Tacan at all.

Glad you got it. For anyone else who finds this topic, the command is “tacan mode AA” or “tacan mode transmit” to go back to T/R.

If you give him a tune tac (ie “tacan tune arco” he will switch to AA automatically, then going back “tacan tune stennis” automatically puts it back in T/R.
