Vullcan Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 Hoping someone can clarify the spring options available since the manual is slightly confusing. My goal is to get the safest stiffest spring setting possible. A couple assumptions: With the stick comes two packages of 2 springs (#5 + #4). Two #6 springs are installed by default in position 1 The manual (attached) says "It is not recommended to combine the default spring and the number 3 spring, or use in pairs". First there is no number 3 spring right? Confusing... Then it says "or use in pairs". What? It specifically says to throw the #6 spring and #4 spring on there for using the extension + z-axis at the same time. I'm not using the z-axis, just the extension, but I'd personally love to throw the #6 spring in the top position and the #5 spring in the lower position at the same time, but not if its going to self destruct on me. It looks really beefy so I'm having a hard time wondering why I shouldn't make this thing as stiff as my Virpil T-50 base.
bainsy Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Did you ever figure this out? I just setup my stick and throttle and with an extension the stick tension is too loose.
MustangSally Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Yep, fine.
