Cmd r prompt to release and open beta

Ok i know how. It takes an hour or two both ways though. Pita. I cant run dce without stable but my.rio flies (and his squad) open beta.

I tried skatezillas app.. it didnt do anything i cant type unless i missed something.

I next installed a stable dcs version. A 2nd dcs. I then cmd r and did the cmds to upsate for open beta. The commands work.. to set it to release. I even did the one where u type in the version # you want to revert to

No dice

Im not comfortable messing around with my.original install as it has ALL my dce campaignss on there and i worked months just to get them.to work. Worst case id switch but id ask help for how to easily xfer dce.

Surely it cant be THIS difficult.right? I must be missing sometbing? Look ill reward someone if they fix this.

If you want it quick and smooth, you need 2 installs, one stable and one OB.

Instead of having one install and then use CMD stuff to switch between the two is cumbersome. 2 installs and it's just one simple click and off you go...

Fair nuff sir but heres the issue.

I have 2 installs. I just deleted one and dkd a third. They install correctly

However the cmd r stuff that DOES work works EXVCEPT no matter what you it will say it did what u asked.

And youll be in release

And yes i even tried reverting to the open betas actual number.

Im.willing to pay 20.euros or a module.(not a 80.dollar one guys 50 range) if someome DEFINITIVELY fixes this. Definitively means i test and both copiies show good #s andni restart no issue.

And my word is good - im not rich but im at my wits end

If you need to have the same stuff (settings etc...) on both installs, you should have 2 DCS directory's in your Saved Games folder (c:/Users/your name/saved games/), one called DCS, the other DCS World Open Beta.

You can copy the stuff you want from one over to the other to keep your settings etc... aligned between the two.

True but i dont think this applies to the dozens od file extensiona in dce campaigns
